Topic: Suggestions on projectors, and screens...

I think that a projector may be better to do video than carrying around a 42" plasma, or lcd, plus I can get a bigger viewing display, and its much more mobile. ANyone here using a projector? I have no idea about ANYTHING about projectors, cept that I see some real small ones that will project a nice image inside a lit room, and i've seen HUGE ones that just plain old SUCK. Need some help here, if you use a projector or know of a good brand or type, lemme know.

I am useing Optoma EP749's They work great. In regards to screens, need to let us know the enviorments you will be using. I use DaLite and also authorized partner, so I can probably get you a better deal than what you can find on the net. I use the fast folds, and I have both front projection screens and rear projection. So like I said it depends on your enviornments that your going to be set up in. PM me if you have any further questions.
 
Look for a projector that has a minmum 2000 lumens
1024x768 native resolution
LCD or DLP (stay away from regular lamp types)
If you can afford it look for a model that has a short throw lens Great for being closer to the screen and still project a big show!

is it common in most projectors that you can set things like distance, and angle of projection? i'd like to get as close as possible, but in case i need to go say 20' or what ever, i'd like to adjust the size of the final projection.. (Make sense?)
 
 
I use a slightly brighter version of Viewsonic... works great!
