Topic: It's back (Crazy crash)

Just got through reinstalling VDJ (up to 4.3) New external drive.
After 20 Min same thing happened again. Screen goes to a fog like effect
program locks up. Message says VDJ not responding. Wait for pgm to start or end.
Nothing happens have to wait. Sometimes it comes back & sometimes no.

I really need to get this figured out; anyone ideas please!

What are the specs of the machine..?

I will be honest from what I read you may have issues with your machine.

And next time update your own post with this new info... don't open another thread.
 
Here's the specs.
System is a Toshiba laptop Satellite A135-S4527. Intel 2080 processor.
Dual core. Windows Vista.

Sorry for updating in another thread.
If it is the machine what can I look for? This thing has never
been on the internet and is only used for VDJ.
Thinking of downgrading to windows XP.
 
Have you reduced Vista to the bare essentials of processes running ? Turned off all the flare like AERO desktop? If you are considering XP, I would do go back to XP as well.

I have not messed with turning anything off. (Don't really know how)
Right now I believe XP would work better.
Just want to get through Sunday if possible.
 
i would almost put it on the net and get all the updates including direct x and your graphics drivers.
