话题: VIRTUAL DJ CRASHES WHEN BROADCASTING

YES SO I HAD TO REFORMAT MY COMPUTER, I REINSTALLED VIRTUAL DJ 4.2 NOW WHEN I HIT BROADCAST IT CONNECTS AND THEN BASICALLY CRASHES AND DOESNTLET ME DO ANYTHING IN VIRTUAL DJ. IS THERE A FIX FOR THIS IVE TRIED EVERYTHING EVEN UPDATEING THE LAME_MP3 CODEC.. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT

EVEN DISABLES TIME CODE BASICALLY ALL I CAN DO IS WAIT TILL IT LETS ME CLOSE IT AND EVEN THEN IT HAS TO BE CTRL ALT DELETED

ok , sounds to me like using an unoffical version is the cause of your troubles , please try the latest demo you will find it has many improvements

and if you like this software please purchase it then you can get acess to all the features , plugins and updates.

well sounds to me that you dont know much.. your saying this cause i havent put my key in for the forum.. its good to know that you guys blow people off over something you dont require.. had it said add your key or else you cant post in this forum i wouldve done it.. but it doesnt say that does it.... didnt know i had to do that to have a little tech support and not get someone who has something so idiotic to say... i use that version for its midi capabilitys... so it sounds to me next time you should think twice before opening your mouth with something so ignorant.. and actually the cause of my troubles was just needed to forward a port... so thank you so much mister moderator for your wisdomooo your infinite godly know it all wisdom..


and by the way thats a great sales pitch... ignorantly insult someone then expect them to buy your product... good one... why dont i go back to useing serato since virtual dj seems to be unapreciative of its customers, ill be sure to add my serial key next time and give the wink wink and shake your hand the secret way so i can get to the real forum for posting your questions... good one there sky fx... sounds like something a faderwave dj would say..

I dont work for virtual dj its not my product i just help people here and im not insulting you..

To be more exact If you use an unofficial version of 4.2 you will experience all sorts of trouble due to hardcore code modifications in these versions caused by hackers, with will cause to crash and damage your computer that is all i am saying.

if you are a register user you can ignore add your serial uninstall 4.2 grab the latest update .

or do a full uninstall of 4.2 and download the latest demo 5.0.4 and then follow these steps http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/59741/General_Discussion/The_Ultimate_Guide_to_Broadcasting_With_Virtual_Dj_).html

and you will find it performs very well.

Yes .. its understandable you might want a while to check out the software but, bad versions of any software are very dangerous to your machine as they are unstable , and consider that the people who share them dont do any thing for free and bundle other unwanted things with applications they share , if you want to get good results do a full uninstall of 4.2 and check out the latest demo and follow that guide.

because obviously you didnt read my 2nd post... i use that version for midi capabilitys (midi yoke nt) version 5.0 does not work with this software.. for the midi controller i use.. which is why i use version 4.2 i could use 4.3 so once again you posted something that has no merrit to help me so why even bother posting it .... and its pretty clear what you were trying to say... in a nutshell it was " buy the program add the serial so it says pro edition user then come back and post your problem and ill actually say something smart that might help you"... i mean would you disagree... cause i never read anything bout helping me with broadcasting in vdj... just you making claims bluntly and ignorantly... i have a legit copy of 4.2 and i had a issue with it which is why i came to the virtual dj forum.. was my post haveing anything to do with the merit of my copy of 4.2 or a problem im having with 4.2.... till they finish midi yoke to be able to work with vdj 5 i cant use it how id like to.... and if you got a problem with someone useing a old version say it... ask why they use it... like its funny cause you dont even read anything any one says im sure and your just post something for what reason ill never know.... i drive a 2003 toyota.... should i trade it in for a new one cause i find it will perform very well even though it doesnt suit my needs...

and also you aim to ignorantly insult someone.. under what cause... cause i had a problem with virtual dj...... like not one of your posts has been aimed to help someone.. just question and insult there character... is thiis how you treat everyone who posts in the forum.. im just going to go before i get more upset... cause i guess you cant understand the words that are coming out of my mouth...

My best guess, is the simple reason... Demo version dont allow broadcast, crack for "fixing" that doesnt work, and it locks up.

Other than that, it might also be your port or firewall that dont allow VDJ to broadcast.
You need to ALLOW VirtualDJ full access to internet, to have broadcast working.

IF its the first reason,buy the software and there are NO such issues, you can even listen to live djs with VDJ running all day here:

I personally think you need to calm down. I see where he was trying to go in regards to issues with older software. Where I am confused is where you say u can use midi in 4.3 and not is 5.0. Could you please explain a little clearer what you are trying to use in 5.0 that wont work in 4.3.

i like to use a program called midi yoke which takes usb signals and turn them to midi signals (to help with programs like virtual dj).. and for some reason it doesnt fully work with 5.0, which is why i sticked with my copy of 4.2... i know this from posts on there forums.... i it can work but its difficult and involves regedit.. and i have all legit full copys its funny how people jump to that i mean i was told that you can still download version 4.3 even if you buy the latest version.... so its not that crazy... there is no demo i explained more clearly in the other post in the proper forum... but its cool ill take the subliminal popshots at my character.. for tech support.




but none the less i will take the advice and uninstall vdj and save my self a headache... cause thats the only advice truly been given

its funny i originally came back to this post to say some one helped me fix it ( another forum who help people then insult).... and im glad my eyes were opened to the attitude ive been given over a problem ( which i still dont understand the e-flame, stickam drama overspilling??????)..... its funny how everyone just says ope you have an illegal copy delete it, download the demo, and come back, cause your post is non existent until you hit the status quo of our forum...... wow 2nd best 300 dollars ive ever spent... but definetly not something ill ever support again.. so i took the advice took my legit copy of virtual dj.... uninstalled it and went out and threw traktor scratch on the credit card.... even tho i lost what i use on midi... its ok tho cause i found it performs very well thnx skylab (2 thumbs up)... so to those who insulted my character and my intelligence.. thank you for your help with virtual dj.... and telling me to get rid of it... best re-sale's pitch ever..



and with attitudes like that i can see why people have illegal copy's and wouldnt want to pay you guys.. just its lucky its been to long or id do a cash back and get my money back.. so thanks for all the help and ill be sure to spread the virtual dj love and tell them of my story.....


i mean i can see why you guys act condescending over a little tag on a forum.. but you didnt even help.. and you claim to be here to help, well i guess you did help, you helped native instruments get another sale, buy telling a customer to get lost.....
