Vegas Studio, Vegas Platinum or Vegas Pro? I called their site and the Vegas 6 they said was not the Pro version and the PRO 8 upgrade did not work with it unless you had vegas 6 or 7 PRO originally......did you get your 8 pro upgrade to work with the 6 you bought?

Just to let you know, I've personally spoken to two highly regarded videographers here that had recently upgraded to Vegas 8 and after working well for a short time, the program completely crapped out, and they've since had to reload a prior version. As of last week they've had no response from the mfg as to why, or when a fix would be available. But they did also mention that several more that they have spoken to were having the same issues. Just thought I'd let you know.

You buy 6 pro and upgrade it to 8 pro
I just talked to B&H and they said you don't even need to install 6, just enter the serial into the upgrade to 8 and it will work perfectly.
6 is an oem version cd only btw, 8 is the full boat version.
