Hi,
I'm having a problem similar to others in that I cant broadcast or record mic with the master signal. When i stream or record with master only, no problem. If i change to record from to 'master and mic'. I get an error message 'sound card unavailable' when i press the start record button.
I have my mic plugged into a multi mix 8 USB desk
that signal goes from the aux sends to the external interface of my m-audio 1010.
when i go to the monitor mixer section m audio control panel i can see the MIC signals on H/W input 5/6, and on the master volume
i can also see VDJ on master volume and wavout 1/2 and wavout 3/4
I can hear the MIC over the speakers but the MIC signal is not being recorded to my MP3 recorded file, or to the broadcast signal due to 'soundcard unavailable'.
Has any one any suggestions?

VDJ doesnt (yet) have an "own" microphone control, but uses Windows default mic.
So for it to work, the mic in question, needs to be set as DEFAULT mic in Windows first
