Yes, you will have issues. The software is registered to his email address.

You need to get him to
contact support and unregister the software or it is usless to you and you will need to purchase VDJ pro.

i will still need to purchase vdj pro?

how does he contact customer support? phone, etc?

damn it, i have to shell out more $...

i though numark virtual vinyl came with numark cue pro

btw, what if he only put it on one computer... dosnt he have another use left?

there a number i can give him?

A couple of things on this.
Numark products have a different set of terms of use.

Numark products can be transfered.
New owners will have no access to VDJ forum features ie: updates, plug ins, registration as a legitimate user etc...
Original Numark purchasers are given a "gift" by Atomix with these features and that is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

Virtual Vinyl is not Cue.
Cue is a stand alone program like VDJ
Virtual Vinyl is a bundled version with a dedicated sound card.

My advice to anybody wishing to upgrade at this point is to consider the LE version is nothing but a teaser, and if you want the long term benefits that VDJ users have with respect to plug ins, updates and forum features, to consider the VDJ version outright.

so virtual vinyl, the bundle comes with numark cue LE? not the pro/regular version? im confused

so where does my seller go to unregister the software?

Virtual Vinyl is a Pro Version in its self but the team has said the seller is not allowed to unregister this.

So you will need to purchase pro VDJ.

that doesn't seem very friendly

wow. i cannot believe that.

maybe it's just me, but doesnt that seem ridiculous to pay for software that comes in a bundle, even if it is used?

299 more for software to use hardware that would've been less separately?

Its a common thing in software a person purchases a license for them selves not a piece of hardware

you cannot sell on windows or many commercial products in the same way such as adobe.

why not ask the seller for a rebait on what you paid for the software.

yea, ill talk to him...

would i be able to get a rebate on virtual dj pro?

You can always ask via ticket but i think it very unlikely they would offer you a discount for used goods.

wow... this sucks

ugh but i guess i gotta, thanks sky
