Hi guys, can someone please tell me why the automix button has been removed in this version?
It's normally between the 2 BPM buttons, top centre of the screen ( when using the internal mixer skin )
I notice it does light up sometime, but otherwise it appears blank?
Help please...!!!!

Please look in the manual, the explanation is there.
 

Where it say's "playlist" on the bottom right hand side of the skin. Go to it and it should move, It should reveal a + sign and a round button with a white streak in it.

That is the Automix Function. Lock that part of the browser open and it should be there all the time.

Thanks for your help. It only works when you in the playlist as you described.
I guess they changed it a bit in this new version as in the previous versions the automix button was permanently visible.
Wonder why?

This is the first post I found when searching - any chance of making it an option to have the auto-mix back the way it was before?

I really need to see the song loaded in the next deck to check if I need to click past intros...

I LOVE this function though - but it should be an option.

It's like having several decks to play with - very cool..

any chance of getting it back?

Here's an option for you

Click config, keyboard shortcuts, find space bar, click change, find mix next under mixer, click ok
Now your space bar is a mix next button without mousin' around

I hope the post that plainly said no was not a firm no. Perhaps we could have different versions, or different skins, or just different options in setup/config to choose various styles for various djs.

I still don't see why so many people want the 2 deck automix back. I think the new version is soooo much better. If you don't want intros play, select that option under the automix settings. Why does this seem so bad?
 
i always thought of automix as a killer of job security, please dont perfect it LOL.
thats what "Party Breaks" where made for ;-)

had to mess with ya ;-)
 
ya I agree, but the automix is good for cocktail hour, kid sh*t, and running outside for a minute. :)

Here's my deal. I like both, but as the man said, sometimes you need a break.

Plus, I like the idea of using the playlist as a "next song" list. I like setting "mix now" to 'M', but I'd also like to be able to have a "next now" button. EG: just like double click on the next song, but faster and easier. After all, Isn't THAT what keyboard shortcuts are all about?
