Can't find any information on this issue I'm having, so hopefully someone here can help me.
I'm using VirtualDJ 4.0 with an MK2 controller. Back when I was using VDJ3, all of my buttons and sliders were assigned correctly by default. After I upgraded a few months ago, some of the buttons are no longer assigned as they were. I've managed to do without these buttons for awhile, but I need to get back to using them like before.
I went to the VDJ REMOTE CONTROL tab to see if I could change some configurations in there, but I noticed that in the HERCULES DJC area, there is no CONFIG button. I do see that there is a midi section you can configure, and I'm guessing that I could do it that way, but since I'm also using an OXYGEN 8 controller and configuring it in there, I rather have them seperate.
Is there a reason why some of my buttons on my MK2 have changed? It used to be create the way the default was.
Here is an example of what it's doing now:
On the 3-2-1 buttons to select effects, 3 and 1 go from effect to effect and 2 selects the activates the effect. I know that the effects area of the software changed from 3.0 to 4.0 and higher, so wondering if that is just it. That it no longers supports that config and I have to use the manual midi configuration instead. Anyone know?

Have you tried using 5.06. Or have you tried using the mapper which you can download from the site, it might work.
My herc mk2 works fine, and all the buttons how they are surppose too.

When I upgraded, I thought of this as a pleasant surprise (once I got used to the change, that is) because I wanted a way to switch amongst the effects with the MK2. It is also nice to have that same tactile control over loop length to produce effects in the mix with your loops.
Anyway, this behavior is intentional. It is part of the upgrade.
