My take is this:
1) It has to work, and that is a complete unknown at this point.
2) Shows are exactly that, a show. Time testing in the open field will generally yield different "issues" unforeseen under controlled conditions.
3) Cost. Is it a cost effective over component sets or suffer the weaknesses of failure rendering it useless with exorbitant shipping costs and delay?
4) Quality. Is it a combo unit based on the Total Control technology? Or is it ground up engineered with A & H quality?
5) If it doesn't offer a video fader, it is out of the game imo.
6) Numark is a hardware company and really didn't do anything different than we did by coding PCDJ VJ. We still have the best software on the planet and they are still Numark. If you wonder what means, take a look on the SSL forum at the ITCH threads. The name is lame as hell imo, and their already having some fun with it.

So kick back and watch the show, it's gonna get interesting to see it all unfold when it hits the streets.

May be for you rick, but not for me.

I don't think it is built for all the Video Jocks out there,

Still, I've got to admit it still looks hot.

Here are some pictures of the NS7 in the flesh. Sure enough, it's got XLR balanced outputs along with unbalanced RCA if needed. Man, I hope it isn't priced out of my range... I fear that hope is in vane, but I can hope, right??
