I was wondering how you can find what you have downloaded from stage6? It says it went into a temporary folder but guess what? There ain't none visible. Any ideas?
 
when it asks where to save select somewhere else you know that you can find it...

tanina www.tmjones.com, and "Screenplay" are one in the same, you will see their logo if you subscribe. Also check your pop up blocker, and you can also expect stage6 will require you to download the DIVX viewer software.

About the downloading, it doesn't ask for where to download. I know that much about computers. When I click on the download button on the image it just opens up a progress screen showing me the speed of the download, how much has been download, a countdown for the download, and the destination. I don't have a chance to say where to send it. It automatically puts it in a temporary folder. And it just says "Destination: Temporary Folder". No other details. Is there another way to download the video I'm not seeing? I'm finding some shows our DVR seems to don't want to record and some amatures videos I would like to download and view later.

Tanina I think I see what you are doing wrong. After you click on DOWNLOAD do NOT click on open, if you do it will save it in a temp buffer file and you won't get a directory choice. (It's saving it in your RAM memory only)

Instead select SAVE, then save it to your folder. That should work for you.

I don't have the option to open. I click on the download button in the middle of the image and it goes directly to the screen progress screen. "Open" and "Open Folder" is faded out. The only active button is the "Cancel" button. There isn't any save options. It goes directly, I guess, into the temp butter file you mentioned.

Oh, by the way. I have already downloaded and install the new Divx Player it keeps saying I needed to do.
 
What happens if you right click the download tab? Do you get a "save target as" option?

Sounds like my night last night:) Just love leavin the bar at 3 am and bein back to work from noon til 4 am.
 
ok guys we all know the educational establishment Stage6 is shutting its doors tonight, but there is a replacement facility in which you can go to improve your knowledge and thats http://stage7.ning.com/ its just started up and has less than 1,000 students just now so not much material in which to peruse over but still in the loving format of stage6

another establishment you might want to look at also is veoh.com not sure its correct web address because i have'nt been there in a couple of years

will post more learning establishments if i think the material is worth a mention
