How do I copy BPM and Virtual folders on 2 PCs?
I have a desktop and a laptop. I want to copy my virtual folders and BPM info from the desktop to the laptop. I have tried copying the whole virtual DJ folder across but that didn't work. Any ideas?

the bpm info is stored in the vdj library which is an xml file in the installation directory. moving files doesnt do anything for the library.
completely outside of vdj (which doesnt help you) you can get a freeware program (bpm analyzer) which will scan and write the bpm in the tag. but for vdj, i asked already that they use xpath statements so when you move a file from one place to another in your folders, it will still find it in the library.

mah bad... i just set some new cue points in a file, then closed vdj and moved the file. cue points were still there, so disregard previous post.
if you want to move it across a pc, just make sure you take the VirtualDJ Database (username).xml file as well which is the actual library with pertinant info. Check for elements that have a "FolderPath="..." attribtute and you will need to change that to the new path on the copied machine.
