Hello everyone. I am considering getting the Numark DXM Pro mixer. Currently I am running Virtual DJ on Windows Vista, and also have a Numark DJ IO. I was wondering if it is possible to connect the Numark DXM Pro so as to make it work with Virtual DJ through the DJ IO. A possible scenario that I have considered (but dont know whether it would work) is the following:
1. The Numark DJ IO is connected to my laptop via USB.
2. RCA Stereo cables connect the Output 1 of the DJ IO to the input of the DXM Pro.
3. RCA Stereo cables then connect the output of the DXM Pro to the input of an amplifier or sound system.
Would this scenario work so as to let me mix with the controls (equalizer, crossfaders, etc.) of the DXM Pro mixer while using Virtual DJ? I would appreciate your support and comments.
