Topic: New Years Eve Countdown Videos For Clipbank - Page: 1

this is part of a video i put together for new years eve (theres others), i'm gonna run it in clipbank in conjunction with auld lang syne at midnight, as were still anticipating a countdown clock for vdj (the guys probably aint got the time lol) i'm gonna use the clock in text2d then switch over to clipbank at the appropriate time...



the full clip lasts 1:20seconds and there is another clip you can run afterwards on a loop with fireworks saying happy new year...

there is another without big ben at the beginning, one with countdown. one with just the fireworks and happy new year, others i'm thinking of doing are times square with just a still and another with a clip of the countdown ball at the beginning, there is also a selection of firework clips as well you may want to use

if anyone wants one or one made up for your city just pm me with your email address [must have to give you link] and selection or requirements i will send you a link on how to download them directly from me...

that is awesome, I would love to add that to my show unfortunately if Atomic Doesn't fix the dac 3 problem, I of version 5.6 i Won't be running video. I should have stayed with version 3
 
You mean 5.0 r3?? If so you can simply reinstall rev 3 just contact support and ask for the download.

Tayla use notepad and write down the emails u sent then u can see what you have done and by the way you are the XARA3D god!!

absolutely right, i was doing well then i got a call out, by the time i got back my head was screwed and i lost my game plan on the emails, then i had to get sorted for a gig, going back through them now...

take it you got your link then, hehe, were any of the other clips any good to you???keep popping in every once in a while adding new clips when i get the time, be putting some christmas ones there in the next couple of days...cheers

now if I click the menu button and click copy to clipboard will that save the file for me so I can put it on my performance rack? New at this. As I said I have been using the 3.4 version up until recently.
 
ok tophouse has shamed me into putting audio to my files (i'm a lazy git and thought i could get away with it) ok for this one i'm using the same dvd clip of big ben he used which has a five minute running countdown to midnight except at 22 seconds before midnight i've re edit it with a new sound track of party classics starting with auld lang syne and put my fire work clips onto it, this gives you a total running time of twenty minutes,hope you enjoy it...

the response to these has been amazing i've been at the desk all day and its now nearly 1am tuesday, so if you have'nt got your link yet sorry but could you pm me again with it so i dont have to sort through tons of the old ones, thanks

to the guys in the states asking for the "times square countdown ball", its now complete and i will upload it tomorrow, its last years version not the new one for this year... lol

and thanks very much, forgot to add to the above this vid can be played in your normal music files as it has audio attached or you could still put it in clipbank and use your own mixs, either way it gives you an opportunity to mingle with the crowd at some point...

use it with text2d and work out your start point...

hi guys

as promised heres your times square countdown ball, the beginning is of lasts years "new year" unfortunately quality is the best that i could find and lasts approx' two minutes, the last ten seconds i've synced in best as i could with the mega audio party mix as with the big ben version which includes my firework clips overlayed onto it and the quality is a lot better, the whole video lasts for approx' seventeen minutes so should give you enough time to get amongst the crowd...

heres a little taster, dont forget quality looks crappy because its gone through youtube and does look a lot better in the file...i'm still looking for a better quality countdown of times square so if anyone has seen one please let me know...






as with big ben you will have to do a quick run through and work out your start point in conjunction with text2d this is what i've advised everyone to do...

you can use both files in either a music file and just name it NEW YEAR - COUNTDOWN, or just put it in clipbank and then you can put your own mix over the top...either way hope its helped

now i'll see about some christmas clips for you...
