Topic: upgrading to pro

Hi, I am thinking of upgrading to vdj pro, just wondered though does this allow unlimited updates ? i.e. once I have 5.0 r5 will I have to pay for 5.0 r6 or indeed 6.0, or is this 'gratis' ?

all updates from v1 have been free for paid customers this is likely to continue for a long wile to come

Nice one chaps , yes it wasn't too painfull (another one converted eh !).just another quick question though ..... I am building a custom desktop to run vdj on for karaoke, I usually run two core 2 duo laptops, if just Disco (one for backup) but found them not to be too stable when outputting video to a second monitor for karaoke. I have plumped for a core 2 quad 6600, with 4 gig of ddr2 800 ram , 500 gig sata hd, g-force 7300Gt (512mb) and a creative x-fi sound card . Should this config run ok or are there any known issues with any of the components ?
 
well ..... that sounds like a good setup ......

you could get a Cray supercomputer .....
