First off I want to thank DJAnthony for his help but I was wondering if anyone else has used the fix of installing windows Vista to help the video freeze problem. I have the ge7400 video card in my lappy and I would kill to be able to use hardware acel.

I don't know your situation. What are the specs for your machine? What have you tried to do so far? Maybe there is help for you with XP. There are a lot of success stories with XP, so don't be so quick switch, if you don't have to.
