hey guys,
ive been toying with virtaul dj and have the basic set-up pretty much figured out. im running the program from my laptop to my external mixboard using the headphone jack on the laptop to one channel on my mixboard. it sounds great but i cant figure out how to listen to other upcoming tracks in my playlist through headphones. when i go to preview, that track obviously starts playing over the currently playing track on the same channel. is there a way for me to listen to other tracks through the headphones without going out and buying a usb soundcard and running that to a seperate channel on my mixboard?

you need an external usb 4.1 soundcard
with two outputs one for headphones one for main

no way around it huh? even if my desire is not to use my external mixboard to mix tracks, but simply want to preview songs that are qeued. any specific recommendations for an external soundcard?
