Topic: no timecode input with u46dj

I tried the beta today with my u46dj, but I can´t get any timecode input signal. I tested the inputs of the u46dj in other apps and all four input channes work there, but as I said not in vdj5. I can only choose the 4-in/4-out option, and only a 2chanel mixer with that soundcard. If I choose three chanel mixer I can only choose the numark interface.

BTW The output works fine on both chanels... and I have v2.2.2. of the u46dj control panel.


Any insight to this? Is it supposed to work at all?

Try to create an aggregate device in the Apple's audio config window
(Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup, create a new aggregate device and add all the inputs and outputs from the U46DJ).

Then use this aggregate device as the driver in virtualdj.
 
Ok. Tried that, and the input signal is now detected, but VDJ shuts down after a few seconds.
 
That is, it shuts down if I try to use Auto-Config. I can´t however get a 100 signal when I try to set the signal manually. BTW what is the TC-up sliders for?

VDJ 5 seems to be unstable on this

i tried to create this but it doesnt appear in the vdj list

when i tried to edit the default one , it aslo dissapeared
 
Mine appears just fine, but the timecode signal is not read right, music is playing at half speed, and I can not autoconfig.

sjursjur, i posted ur crash report at the public beta thread.. Hope u will use that thread to report in future, if not it be messy as there be others with different problems posting a new thread. It is so it be easier for the dev team to look at it n we will discuss there. Thanks:)
