I'm encoutering a latency between the master souncard and the headphone sound card. The headphone soundcard is leading the master sound card. what to do?

I am experiencing this same problem...
 
You must lower latency or try using Safemode or Overclock option.
 
What does checking safemode physically or digitally do?
 
Safemode is just what it says, it will give you good sound but it will lower your performance and override latency setting. You should use it only when you experience problems.
