No it'll never be on homepage for technical reasons.
 
And what would it be needed for anyway?

Just bookmark the forums! Why even go to the home page if your first stop is always going to be the forums where the login is...

How do you remember all the good stuff you visit?
There is no user stuff on homepage so login is useless IMO.
