When is the next updated set to be released and what issues will it address?

Impossible to tell ;)

How long the beta period takes, and what features will be, depends on how they work, and how long the beta testing takes..

So please be patient :)
 
Norway i'm sure you can make an accurate prediction :P

Man, just realized that back in the years of the late 90's, I was looking to put together set that VDJ does in one package +/-.... back then the set up would have cost me more that 800.00us + trying find the music videos that were on VHS.... AAAAHHHH the good ole days of DJing.

it would of been more then that a video switcher for back then would of been at least 5-10k for a standard wipe.
 
True... I think I may still have the video order magazines in a box in my garage. A lot of the equipment would have been shipped from I think- NY / NJ

Lol, i just like the fact that conquest wrote his chant in BB code- you'd laugh if your computer suddenly started chanting at you!
 
Well I know we went through all this before when V4 was anticipated. Maybe we should 'cast the Runes' Get it ?????

and the ability to monitor the deck with out moving the crossfader. biggest for me
 
how come you have to move the crossfader to monitor?
 
i cant figure it out but i have the same problem as this guy in this vid


 
if you are using an external mixer the software crossfader should be in the middle at all times and you should be using the pfl on the mixer itself
 
djkboogie..............not sure how you have vdj setup or how your mappings and soundcard are set up however I have the ecler nuo4 and I dont have any issues. Contact me and I will see if I can help you out. I thought I gave you my custom nuo4 file for virtual dj? well maybe this week I will have it finalized and have Cyder throw it up on the site for all you nuo4 guys.
 
I have a similar problem... everytime I start the program, with no midi implemented at all, the audio fader is always on deck 1. I have to manually center it, then it's good from that point forward... but for the first song..... it has to be nudged..

is this a bug?
