I just got my Connectiv and am burning the Time Code to cds. I notice that the Time Code is only 12 minutes. If I play a song longer than 12 minutes will it keep playing or will it stop???

I don't know the answer to your question, but i admit there isn't much info available on how time coded cd's work.
My maya has just arrived to day, and i want to use tccd as well. (I'm using VDJ 4.3)
It does say that if you use vinyl the track will continue and you can place the needle at the begining of the vinyl, but it doesn't say what happens with cd, or if its the same as vinyl.
I'm hoping to use mine for the first time tonight. I'm going to make 2 dics with track no.1 being the timecode on each disk, then i will fill up the rest of the disc with mp3.
If my computer crashes, will i just be able to skip forward through the cd and play an MP3 track off the disc instead? Will this work?
Any advice for how to do this appreciated. I don't have my own cd decks, so i'll be getting to the club an hour or so earlier tonight to plug all my stuff in. Is there anything i should be aware of or prepared for?

I'm not an expert but i think in version 4.3 it does continue playing, but it might depend which mode you use (relative, smart, etc).

I messed around with mine for a bit tonight at the club and it worked okay.
I used the Pioneer DVJ 1000's (2 of them) with the M-Audio Connectiv and it worked great. I didn't play a song longer than 12 minutes. I guess I will test that tomorrow.
I don't know about 4.3 because I dont have it installed. I've got 4.2r1 and it works great so I've been hesitant upgrading to 4.3.
The only mistake I made was I was at the end of the night when I was playing an audio CD in the DVJ 1000 and turned the computer off. OOOOOOPS! When I did that the audio went away because the Connectiv was USB powered.
The one thing I am not liking about the TCCD is when I load a song it does not start at the very beginning with audio thus I have to cue into the track a few frames to get passed the silence at the beginning of the track. Anyone else have to do that?
