Just got the virtualdj 4.2.
My question is can you use headphones with this in anyway without exrternal mixer etc? Or does every one just use the rhythm window. Sorry if its a stupid question!

Sure you can use headphone (cueing) without external mixer.
But you need soundcard(s) support for it.
Either 2 stereo soundcards, or one soundcard with more than 1 stereo out (such as a surround card).
Or you can get a soundcard with a midi mixer on top (pretty neat for starter djs), called Hercules MK2 or BCD3000 :)

oK just sussed out the sound card.
Ive gone
"outputs" = Headphones
"soundcard" = mono separated, so one speaker can now be used for cueing.
Question = does this now mean my recordings etc will now come out in mono?
