i am an expereinced sequencer and producer but can not despite all my efforts get the 'multi ' working so i can hear music from both 3/4 headphones and 1/2 speakers

set to multi i get headphones but no speakers

set to 1/2 i get speakers and no headphones

are you using the headphone selector

and the jack output?
 
when set to multi

i have headphones selected to 3/4 output so when i press headphone on control i can here it

the music should be coming out of 1/2 but isnt

do you have mk2 or mp3 console?

just to add

i have tested asio and working correctly
 
the home edition supports a 4.1 and 5.1 soundcard

if you have a different type of card or 2 cards you need pro

for prelistening

choose the option 4.1 or 5.1 depending on which card you have then

assign the channels as you want them

which card do you use?
 
i am running firewire410 m audio which goes to 7.1

i have set multi to surround and 5.1 and 7.1 no joy
 
i am running djc edition
 
alright so what happens just no sound at all on headphones?
 
as posted

i am getting sound when sound card output set to multi sound through headphones (this is when i have the consol headphone button pressed) but not speaker but no speaker noise

when set output to 1/2 not multi obviously no headphones as advertised

i am experienced with reason and cubase and have always solved issue but with this i cant see why not working

i have tried setting window i have set asio through cubase i have set through sound and audio

 
do you have the latest vdj home edition and the latest drivers ?
 
yes just brought it and downloaded drivers
 
and latest drivers for sound card
