Hello,
I currently run vdj on my Hercules DJ Console MK1, I'd like to upgrade to vinyl control essentially for scratching
Since it has only one input, I would like to know if a single turntable with TCV could be connected through the MK1 console.
Would that work fine?
Are the ASIO drivers really different from MKII's?
My goal would be to buy the tcv, upgrade to pro version, but keeping my current hardware config config.
Any help would be great, thanks.

your gonna have to buy a usb soundcard such as u46 dj.
this card will let u hook up 2 turntables to it.
u can find them on ebay for $200.00 just go to ebay.com and search for u46 dj.

and yes the asio driver r better because they will let u run in low latency mode with time coded vinyl.
p.s. the u46 dj supports asio so id advise u to get the u46 dj.

but the question actually was, can i connect 1 turntable through hdjc since it would be enough for me

yes u can connect 1 tt to the hdjc cuz i have hdjc but i dont have tts yet i am getting to numark 1625 for xmas but u can connect 1 to it

I got'em 10 years ago man...less than 500 euros each at the time
heard numark's were good for the price, but if u can afford it go technics
i waited two years after I bought my first sl-1210 to get the second...

id upgrade to mk2 then you can do both and benifit from the studyer construction
