Is there any plan to add an echo effect that is updated to work with VDJ 4.0+ ?
Echo is a very basic, fundamental effect, and seems like it should be fairly straightforward to program... Why is there no echo effect for VDJ 4.x ? Should definitely be created!

the plugins as you know are made by users so if theres a user who wants to make it they will

Yeah, it would be great :) I've seen EchoOut, and it's nice, but not as useful as a more general echo effect would be... But yeah, I don't know how to program effects -- how do you do it? I'll make one :) But don't know how... :(
