I CAN'T GET THE VIDEO FUNCTIONS TO WORK PROPERLY ON VERSION 4.0. I CAN'T DISPLAY TEXT & I CAN'T SHOW MY LOGO. WHY? WORKS PROPERLY FOR ME IN 3.4, BUT NOT IN 4.0. I READ THE EFFECTS PAGE IN THE USER GUIDE AND IT OFFERS NO HELP.
COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME????????

It was a problem in 4.0 , it has been discussed in plenty of forums will be corrected for 4.1 release
you have to go to the effects section of the browser to activate/deactivate the effects
4.0 doesn't do the auto bitmap correctly when theres audio only files

that's interesting, mine works fine on 4.0, are you sure you have a ll the directx and codecs installed?

He's talking about the "show when no video or karaoke is available"
It use to turn on a image when there was no video or karaoke showing

Its better to wait for the 4.1 update , it should be corrected by then . If you can't wait then just type the word slideshow in the box thats empty, and run over to the effects tab in the browser to choose your image
