话题: Dac3 unrecognized

Today something strange happened. When I pluged in the dac3 this message apears: "One of the USB device attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." I changed the cable, change the usb port, even put the dac 3 trough an usb hub. Still not recognized.:(

Are able to try connecitng it to another computer to see if it's recognised?

This will rule out whether the DAC-3 is faulty or there is a problem with the computer.

Yes, I have connected to another computer and it worked. After that, I have changed the monitor, keyboard and mouise to the computer witch hadn't recognized and it had worked ok. Now, when I write this lines the computer don't recognized the dac3(unknown device). Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.:)

Try a new USB cable for the DAC 3 ?

In that case, I'd be pulling ALL USB devices from the machine, going into device manager. Removing ALL USB device drivers, doing a reboot and then adding each device one by one. You could have a driver corruption/conflict somewhere.

Problem found and solved. The usb conector on the dac3 was the problem.
