How will VDJ4 cope with these players? I've got a gig coming up and they've got no turntables and no cd turntables, just dual Denon cd players.

Hi,
I've got a DND-4000 (the model before the 4500), I havn't had any problems, but cue-ing is a little bit funny because it's not vinyl style cueing.
When your cueing a song it stutters that frame of the cd over and over so you can hear it, and the result is that you see the VDJ wave display stuttering as if you had set a loop for an eighth of a beat or something.
As long as you can get used to that, shouldn't be any problems, the loops, hot cues, etc worked fine for me. :)

No, he's not saying that, because his post was made in 2006 when VDJ 7 didn't exist!
The DN-D4500 is just a CD player, so can't be used to control VDJ directly.
The only way to do it is to use timecode CDs and a suitable audio interface (4 in / 4 out) to connect the DN-D4500 to VDJ.

Congratulations on pulling up an 8 year old thread.
These are CD/MP3 players - they would require timecoded CD's to control VDJ and an audio soundcard that provides in and out options.
