In my djing style i often repeatedly use alt-1 etc to return to specific cue points to loop without using the loop function or achieve some other effect. Last night at my gig on 2 occasions when i was doing it, both decks reseet to the beginning of the track. I eventually had to relegate myself to cuing with the mouse which was a less than ideal sitiuation for me. I also noticed that the system ding sound (like the error ding) would play every time i hit the shortcut through the laptop speakers (not through the u46dj)

Hey blackgold, I can't answer your question about the alt-1 but I can tell you how to disable the system ding. You'll need to go into the Control Panel and select Sounds and Audio Devises. Then, on the Sounds tab use the drop down arrow for Sound Scheme and select No Sounds. This will prevent Windows from sending error dings.
