Hi
When I project VDJ onto the big screen TV I can't get the text function to work any help?

Have you tried to change the color of the text?
 
Yes still no good however when I take it off the screen it works fine
 
check your brightness and contrast some colors are affected if they are not set properly.
 
My friend has this problem on his laptop. He can't use hardware acceleration as his video card doesn't support it - no video if he tries (however text works) - But with no hardware acceleration he doesn't get the text. HOWEVER, if he uses it in 'window' mode, and drags that across the TV screen it does work. Bizarre.
