Topic: Anyone with 1280 x 800 resolution?

I want to buy a new laptop which has a widescreen resolution of 1280 x 800.

My favourite skin is the MIX station SV_04 VDJ 3.4 by serge6037:

Great look and functionality.

Does anyone with a 1280 x 800 screen resolution use that screen? How does it look? Does is work well? I really do not know how the usual resolutions look on wide screens and I'd like to hear your comments...

you can use it in 1024x768 "mode" on a widescreen...

I have 1280x800 too... And I can use all 1027x768 skins...
They dont fill the whole screen that way, but thats ok.

You can still make it fill the whole screen, by pressing maximize, but it will be a bit out of ratio then ("pressed" wide). But its not too bad ;)

But there are a few 1280x800 skins made, that looks better.. Think the Mixstation have a version like that.

Only issue with maximize skins that are too small, is that some experience black outs.
I've never had any. And very few do, but thats only in the full screen maximized mode.

 
Im sure the 1280 skins will start coming around more as widescreens start becoming more popular
