I download songs on my PC and burn them onto CDs. I then rip the CDs onto my laptop and into VD. When I do this, VD puts every song under unkown artist. I then have to go in and move the songs, one at a time into the proper artist file. This is a huge time eater and overall pain in the ass. Is there anyway to get VD to recognize the artist of the track and deposit them in the artist file?

do you use windows media player to rip tunes?
if so press update artist /album titles and then it will conect to the web and rename them for you , then import them to virtual dj.
The same idea will work if you use real player.
