this might be a dumb question but does the eks version of the xp10 have the shift 1 and 2 buttons described on the vdj version on this web page

what do you mean with "described"?? EKS version is actually the same as VDJ was.

EKS version has the same buttons.
The buttons can be mapped in VDJ, so it's the same for the EKS version of the XP10.
