Somewhere I read about that you can control all your light show with VDJ like if you had a DMX controler, isthis true?...if it is...how you do it ?

I'll be surprised if someone is using that function of vdj. Not enough information has been released about that particular feature. All I know is that you need to purchase a dongle usb input to an xlr connection. Sorry I don't have any links and couldn't find it in the forum search.

Yes I know you will need a usb to XLR interface, chouvete makes one for about $500.00 that's what we have in the club runing with and automated lightning software, very expensive though :-)
But my question was directed on where is that function in VDJ ? I thought it was going to be like the efFects, samples, and skins tablet that comes with the software.
Anyway, I was just wandering, because it would be awesome for Mobile DJ's to control sound and lightning with just one software and not having to carry arround the DMX controler ( 1 less thing to carry in and out ....jejejeje ) that would be awesome, don't you think ?:P

Go into VDJ config menu. Click on tab "Remote control". Then at the bottom at the left there is a setting called "DMX". With channels you could setup which light channel is at what dmx address. With Programs you could create shows.
If this setup is completed, you could use shortcuts to load a show, see the lights subset in the shortcut setup menu.
You could also automate this, by setting cue points in your mp3 or video file and create an action to it using the CueEvent effect plugin
