Topic: Herc MKII Crossfader for Video

Hi all,

I've been working with VDJ for about a month and I'm having a great time with it. I have been using the Herc MKII as a controller and while it is adequate the crossfader is really not of a proffesional quality so I am trying to set it up to use an external mixer. I've gotten the sound to work but what I'd really like to do is use the external mixer for the sound and retain the ability to use the Hercules crossfader for video fades.

I've tried a variety of combinations but can't seem to find a setup that will allow this to happen. Any suggestions or is it just not possible??

Dude...I wish I knew the answer to your question.

I know someone will be able to tell how to do it if it can be done.

It appears as though either no one knows if it can be done or this question has been answered elsewhere so it was ignored.

Can anyone point me in the right direction at least?

So what i understand from your request is only the ability to use the MKII crossfader to control video crossfader.

This is possible with Djcel's djconsole V2.0 mapper.
