Topic: Update ? & specs

Okay this is probably a stupid question, but I am going to ask anyway.
I finally got around to downloading 3.2.
Question is: Is this just an update or the full program?
Reason I ask is because on the other updates, after downloading it appeared as "update".
3.2 shows "Install"

Secondly, someone has specs for a laptop in their blog. I would like to check them out.
I know you need 512 ram etc.. but there was far more detail about sound cards etc.
This will only be used for a backup to the main system, but I still want it to be stable.

Now would it be best to uninstall the previous and then do a complete re install?

You could install normally, it will upgrade your current version but you have to set your preferences again after install. You don't loose your analized songs or any or of your databases. Anyway is better to have a backup of your important files.
 
Hi bogart, I have a Toshiba a75 s211. 3.2 mhz, 512k, using a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Z5. No problems it works pretty fast. Although, I recommend you to shut down applications you are not using. Hope this help peace.
