Other USB Sound Cards... DJConsole 2... :-)

Some USB Sound Cards are in about $250... So DJConsole MK2 seem to be a best option. Get USB SoundCards and a VDJ Controller at the same price.

GoodLuck!

what about the Gigaport AG? is this any good?

b-rob32,

If you want to use TCVs or TCCDs the Gigaport AG is useless. If you only want a 5.1 USB card, then Gigaport AG or Creative USB 5.1 or any 5.1 (or better) will work with VDJ.

If you want to use TCVs or TCCDs then only a few are available.

You can search in the forum and get more information.

Good Luck!

MArian UCON CX is a usb 2.0 Sound card 8in and out ;) 2ms latency ;) U46DJ is a nice budget solution :) , if u have a PCMCIA bus also i would deffinitally recomend the RME Multiface ;)

RME hammerfall, one word, quality. rock solid asio and works like a dream with nearly all programs

so the gigaport is no good?

acw dj is correct. Gigaport AG is OK, except with TCV. I have been using Gigaport AG for about a year and a half, and it works fine.

You are comparing Maya 44 USB with Gigaport AG. That's wrong, these are different type of sound cards. Maya 44 USB is used for us with VirtualDJ to use TCVs or TCCDs. If you are not going to use such devices, then you could use any 4.1 (or better) sound card; The Gigaport match with this too.

If you are going to use TCVS or TCCDs then you have to look for another soundcard.

Good Luck!
