Are the buttons on the MK2 the same as the first console?.., does the play button often not register?, how many times out of a hundred does the play button not register?.
I haven't tested yet, and I'm not interested in buying it if the buttons are still crappy like the original console.
Also, has the latency of the controls improved?.

Users say that they are better, but at the other hand they are the same membrane type buttons, not real switches like in cd players.

I can report that the play button on the original Herc was bad when I bought it, it worked maybe 1 in 2 attempts, now it hardly works 1 in 10!!, not good news.., the soundcard for the timecode might save this console though.
