Some of our more technically oriented members are looking into
the modification of the Numark CM-200USB mixer to allow its'
use for TCVs or TCCDs.
This is a very timely topic, and one that is worthwhile for all of
us looking for a reliable, reasonably priced mixer solution.

Lopez is modifying his DMX01USB. I was looking to get one CM-200USB and start to modify it for TCVs and TCCDs use but I can't get one of these until december :s. I look the diagrams and the modification it's posible. This solution will need ASIO4ALL drivers however.

when you are saying usb mixer for TC how does that work differently then a normal hook up?

Using the soundcards of the mixer, so we don't need another soundcard (like Maya) to keep it working with TCVs. That's the deal... ;-)

Okay I came back from the business trip from vienna right now and am reading forum messages from friday :-) I had nice call from DHL that my DAC2 is here, so tomorrow they'll deliver it to me.
On weekend i will hopefully make the docs of mod photos and put it on the internet.
ANyway can someone please test ani of his numarks
and use deck one as SOURCE of TCV for VDJ and other for playing it out ?
I had it working for TCCD but i had old decks that wre spinning in real speed so when i adjusted speed of them it took a while for them to spin up. Therefor i cannot consider the latency.
Is Numark USABLE ????
I will mod it anyway ...

I already buy a CM-200USB but I will have it in December when my cousin brings it to me. I going to make it work!

yeah it's the same, but built in is maybe more optimized and is 24bit ...
but it's still just soundcard connected to mixer.
No direct digital processing :-(
so bulding maya into numark DXM 01 (not usb) is better
