ok i am completly new to djing. i am purchasing hardware to use TCV already have TT and Mixer on order... what type of speaker system should i use... Is a PA what you use or what type of amp speaker combo should i get... mainly for small party venues maybe 50 to 100 people... also does anyone know a good practice speaker setup for use in the house... i could always use my surround sound system but i would rather buy a system that is geared more toward dj ing.... thanks... another question . do most club djs use monitors or no? i am in iraq and there are a lack of clubs here , of course so i dont have the opportunity to go check out peoples setups, which i will definatly do when i return

I think is better to have monitors... You could have something like these:

I picked these up for our booth in tampa, the sound great, and not to expensive. Studio use obviously.
