Topic: How many shortcuts required?

What would be the minimum number of buttons (user-assignable shotcuts) you would like on an external controller?

1)10 or less

2)15-20

3)25-30

4)35-40

5)45+



Me personally, choice #3... what about you?

I personally have about 36 shortcuts I use every night so....
 
option#3 is fine with me. please please please consider make the scratch vinyl spins while activate.
 
Option #5 for me, I use a specific keyborad for atomixmp3 with 63 shortcuts.
 
I only Have 42 effects which include bascially all buttons on the atomixmp3 visual interface and three effects buttons, all equalizer kills, and sound bites, along with crossfader functions and the "0" on the number pad with is problee the most used function

that's me i guess

but having a lot of choices is good because you might not know what you are comfortable so have a lot of choices
 
My keybord is full of shortcut and i work to combine another keibord on the same computer.
12 for loop
2 for play
2 for pause
8 for set cue
8 for goto cue
8 for goto cue and play
6 for effect
6for kill bass mid hi
2 for magic
4 for pitch & down
6 move left right
2 for skip beat
1 switch

and i dont talk about macro and sample

(excuse my faule I'm french)

I dont know for you but I'm need over 80 short cut
