Topic: Soundcard lost after installing second one under Win2000

I have a little problem and hope, that someone could help me.

After my SB Live worked fine under Win2000, I activated sound on board as a second soundcard. After that, my SB Live was lost. I deavtivated SoB, but SB Live is still quite!

Any ideas to fix it??

I got the same pb when I instakled a second sound card a Sb AWE32. What I did : I took off the sound card that does worked ,restarted the pc, shut it of , installed the sound card again, restarted the pc, (check if the card is active) and then all worked fine.

w2k seem to dislike new component
