For anyone looking for this sort of application, I HIGHLY suggest purchasing a KORG Kaoss Pad. For $200 it is easily the best effects processor for the money. with over 70 built-in effects plus 10 different sampler effects (up to 6 seconds!!!), your DJ set can go from "well...ok" to "HOLY %$#*in #$@%!! No, I don't work for Korg either, but the Kaoss Pad is one of the best purchases I ever made.
P.S. You can use Phono, Line or Mic inputs for it, as well as set it up as an effects loop (send/return) if your mixer supports it.
