My newly purchased Pioneer DDJ REV5 is not working properly with Virtual DJ Pro license. Especially when it comes to controlling Master volume and EFX section. How can I fix this?

Start by reading the Hardware Manual Atomix wrote for its audio setup and mapping:

Please note, there is a key difference in how effects work in VirtualDJ vs Serato - Serato has 2 general effect units that audio from decks are routed through. VirtualDJ has basically an effect unit per deck (up to 6 slotted modules and pretty much unbounded in theory for unslotted) and for the master output as well.
The FX buttons on the module are not mapped as deck side effects (they don't even function that way in Serato either), they are mapped from slots 1 through 6 for a particular deck's effect unit.
- The controller is not working properly with respect to what?
- What about the Volume and Effects section is working wrong in your view?
