Topic: Library Scroll Speed - Too Slow
Hey everyone, how's it going?

Quick question: is there any way to increase the library scrolling speed? Right now it takes a little too long to scroll through my tracks, both when using my mouse and when using the browse knobs on my DDJ-1000 or DDJ-XP2.

It is nothing dealbreaking, but sometimes I need to reach a certain part of my library fast and I would love for the scrolling to be a bit snappier. Anyone know if there is a setting or mapping adjustment for this?

For the controller, you can increase the scroll speed like param_multiply 2 & browser_scroll

Thanks!

Personally I tend to remap my browse to encoders so that SHIFT+ENCODER = param_multiply 5 & browser_scroll

I used to have it to multiply by 10 (so that it worked more as page up/down scroll) but quite often I had to wonder back and forth to find the right "page" before releasing SHIFT to resume normal operation.
Since I changed it to 5 it's the best of "both" worlds for me.

sorry man..what do you mean by encoders? and shift + encoder?

The rotary controll you use to scroll up/down your library is technically known as an "encoder"
So what I was trying to say is that I remap (for my own purposes) this control so that when I hold down SHIFT and use it, it scrolls 5 lines per step/click instead of one.

PS: Technical terminology:
A rotary control that has a defined start and finish point is generally known as a "knob" (e.g. gain knobs or eq knobs)
A rotary control that has no defined start or finish is generally known as an "endless encoder" (e.g. browse encoder)

I hope this info helps.

Thanks for your thorough explanation.
