Starting in April, I've had an issue with the audio suddenly becoming distorted when playing music. When I first experienced this, it reminded me of 20+ years ago, when using a laptop with 1 GB of memory, it ran out of resources and produced a similar distorted sound. My new computer has 32 GB of RAM...should be plenty. I've reloaded my audio drivers, updated Windows and turned off the Nvidia audio driver. I've checked the Task Manager when this occurs, and I see nothing that would drain the resources of the computer. It happened again at yesterday's wedding, but I was ready with a backup computer. I closed VDJ and reopened it and the problem was gone. Should I delete VDJ and download it again?

Are you using a controller? Try increasing the latency in the control panel for the unit if there is one.

Using a Rane Four. I don't have this issue with my former #1, now backup, computer. Just increased latency to 512.
