I've had no issues connecting to myradiostream.com Server Type: SHOUTcast V2 for years.
I've tried to connect to streamerr.co using Shoutcast DNAS 2 and configuring my VDJ connection the same way:
Protocol: ShoutCast (same encoding quality - that didn't matter)
Server URL
Port
source
Password
and streamerr gives me
ERROR [SRC XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:64821 sid=1] Shoutcast 1 source connection rejected. Bad icy header string [icy-name:]
Could anyone shed some light on this?

In case someone else runs into this.
[icy-name:] - that means your "Station Name" is missing - i.e. not being sent by VDJ.
Fix: Put your station name needs to go into the "Session Name" field of the VDJ broadcast dialog
