Who here is using Beatport?? Its like twice the price of BeatSource, is it worth it?? And does the cheaper version have edits or is it all originals??

I know its not the answer you like to hear, but I have used Deezer and that have worked perfect for me ;)
But I have used it mostly for finding strange requests and not as main library for songs.

I had a trial of Beatsource and it was terrible. Worst of all the streaming services I've used. Most of it was behind the upper tier paywall so I never got a chance to listen to any of the remixes etc.

I've used Beatsource in the past and was pleased with it's offerings - it definitely has edits (intros, etc), and even has very good, ready made playlists to source music from. I would say it works well for getting a sense of what may be popular songs in popular genres...like I used it to get a proper footing in Reggaeton and Merengue in the past. However, if you are looking for a comprehensive, all decades solution for music, that is not it - you'll probably be better off with other pools (Xtendamix, although video only, has a very extensive back catalog) or sourcing on your own.

I've never used Beatport - seemed very Dance/EDM oriented at first glance when I checked, while Beatsource is more open-format oriented.

Damn, that's what I was afraid of hearing. At $350 a year I don't know about that. I have my back catalog pretty well covered.

And its crap that they hide the good quality behind a pay wall. I wish they had a 6 month option, really dont wanna drop the cash for a whole year and end up not like it. Might have to try for a month or 2.

Thanks for the input yall!!
