I have waited a long time for a mixing program that utilizes waveforms, and VDJ certainly fits the bill. However, I have some questions :
Can the colors be changed? I prefer to mix manually. I use the scrolling waveforms to know whether to nudge left or right to get 100% lock. This turns the peaks Yellow. What a great visual aid!! I was thinking that some other colors would work even better.
Can cues and markers be placed on the waveform? When I zoom all the way out, it would be nice to see the upcoming structure.
I'd also like to freeze the waveform of the playing song, to aid cueing the next song. That way, I could match peaks (and make them yellow) before mixing live. This is an alternative to auto-mixing, which I haven't been able to do reliably.
