Topic: Headphones out of sync with FLX10
Hi I recently upgraded from the FLX4 to the FLX10. I am having issues syncing the headphone output (where I hear the next track preview) and the master output from the speakers. I have the FLX10 connected to my PC and the PC audio output to the amplifier is set to pass through mode. Basically set up the same exact way I had the FLX4 setup. The only difference is now I get this delay for some reason. Please help! I've tried most of the steps I have read about here and elsewhere and still have the issue. Thank you.

You should route the sound from FLX10 master output to your speakers.

Different audio interfaces usually have different buffers (latency) so it's a known and expected behaviour to have delay in sound when mixing different interfaces together.

Thank you for your reply. Wondering why I didn't have this problem when using the FLX4. I have everything setup the exact same way, the only change is the new FLX10. I never experienced any delay whatsoever when using the FLX4. I have USB- C connected to my PC. The PC is connected to my Denon receiver which outputs the sound to my speakers. There is no sound processing whatsoever in the PC sound settings or the Denon receiver. Receiver is set to direct mode or passthrough mode. Is there anything else that it could be? I love this new controller but it is so frustrating to troubleshoot this issue.

Let's put it this way:

Your FLX4 was as slow as your on-board soundcard.

Now that your FLX10 is faster and better, your computer on board soundcard can't keep up.

That's the most "simple", non-technical explanation I can provide to you.

The solution is also very simple:
Run a pair of RCA cables from the "MASTER" output of your FLX10 to your Denon receiver.
Simple as that!

I just connected it to a new set of speakers directly from the FLX10 and issue resolved. So it is not software or the FLX10. It is either the receiver or the PC which is surprising because they are both on the higher end as far as performance.
